SUSSEX COUNTY, De-
Another weekend packed full of events. This weekend there are events celebrating our veterans, and some getting us ready for the holidays.
On Sunday from 10-2, enjoy all Fort Miles has to offer. Museum tours, an art gallery, and a silent auction. Start your holiday shopping because veterans get discounts at the gift shop.
"Well we honor our veterans for their heroic service to our country and this is a way that we can pay them back for everything that they've sacrificed for us," said president and co-founder of the Fort Miles Historical Association, Dr. Gary Wray.

Crafts and decorations include things for your house, pet, and even warm clothes to get you ready for the winter weather. Plan on spending the day there as they are serving breakfast, lunch, and have baked goods for sale.
"All of our crafts are made by members of the church. People work all year long, We have fabulous knitters, and crocheters, and glass people, and people who collect wood from on the beach," said chair of the craft festival, Kristine Acker.
