Easton Man Arrested in Attempted Armed Robbery

Posted: Updated:

EASTON, Md. - Easton police said they made an arrest in an attempted armed robbery that happened this week.

Twenty-three-year-old Robert Loder of Easton was arrested Friday and charged with armed robbery, assault, and other related charges.

According to police, Loder allegedly walked into the Hong Kong Kitchens Thursday afternoon, displayed a pocket knife and demanded money.

Employees told police they didn't give him the money. The suspect then took off. Loder was reportedly wearing a ski mask at the time, so investigators said they were able to identify Loder after the incident.

Loder was released to the custody of the Talbot County Detention Center.
