DOVER, Del.- Police have released the names of two men killed after the Toyota Prius they were riding in struck a utility pole in Dover early Sunday morning.

Dover police identified the victims as Luis Bamaca Roblero, 22, and Kevin Casto-Giron, 28, both from the Dover area.

Police said the single-car crash occurred at around 5 a.m. Sunday on northbound North DuPont Highway (US 13) where it approaches Leipsic Road. Officers said Roberlo, who was the driver of the Prius, and Casto-Giron, his front-seat passenger, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said alcohol and drugs are suspected factors in the crash.

Both northbound and southbound lanes of North DuPont Highway were closed for several hours. Power was also lost in the area for several hours.
