HARRINGTON, Del.- Delaware State Police on Tuesday released video surveillance photos of a suspect wanted in connection with last week's attempted robbery of the Valero Shore Stop in Harrington.

Police said the incident happened shortly after 5 a.m. Nov. 12 at the business located at 16381 S. DuPont Highway. Upon arrival, troopers met with a store manager who stated that a male suspect had entered the store, walked up to the register and demanded money.  The manager told the suspect that there was no money in the register at this time. According to police, the suspect never displayed a weapon and proceeded to walk out of the store without obtaining merchandise or cash.  The manager was not injured as a result of this incident.

The suspect was described as white, between 20 and 30 years of age and wearing all dark clothing.  The suspect was seen driving away from the area in what appears to be a red/maroon sedan with Maryland registration.

The case continues to remain under investigation and anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to please contact Troop 3, Detective Dear at 302-697-4454. Information may also be provided by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333 or via the internet at http://www.delaware.crimestoppersweb.com
