A winter wonderland is coming to Delmarva...and we aren't talking about the snow. This weekend is the 4th annual Winter Wonderfest Field of Christmas Dreams in Milton.
This year it comes with a lot of new. The biggest change is the location. This year the festival is moved to Hudson Field.
"People can expect a more convenient, and more fun, and even bigger festival than ever before. Now all of our attractions are located among one festival fairground," said event director Peter Bricotto.
The new attractions are endless! Take a train ride on the new Schellville Express. Or, view the light-show on a hayride.
Much of the same attractions people know and love will make an appearance. Tuesday's snow helped set the ice on the famous ice rink.
"Folks want something to do for the holidays and I just always had this vision that Delaware needed a signature holiday event," said Bricotto.
The event has taken over a month to set up. But it isn't a 9 to 5 job.
"We started setting up on October 19th this year and we have literally been working round clock. Fun fact, I actually live here in an RV for a few weeks," said Bricotto.
Tickets are available online or at the door. They can be bought here.
