Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Crisfield

Posted: Updated:

CRISFIELD, Md.- A boil water advisory that had been in effect for the city of Crisfield since earlier this week has been lifted, as of 9:10 a.m. Friday.

Crisfield City Manager Rick Pollitt said that since repairs made to a broken water main at the intersection of Chesapeake and Richardson avenues on Tuesday, city water has been tested and found to be completely within quality standards required for public consumption.

The boil water advisory has been in place as a precautionary measure.

Anyone with questions about their water quality or their use of city water is asked to call City Hall at 410-968-1333.
