It's never a dull moment on Delmarva! Here are some of the top events happening this weekend.


This family favorite event returns with some old and some new. Winter Wonderfest Field of Christmas Dreams kicks off Saturday. The famous light show is back along with the ice skating rink and Christmas village of Schellville. But for more active member, get involved in the Wonderfest walk! 

"Dashing Through the Show event on Saturday night during our grand opening. People can attend and it's their chance to run through the light show or walk through it. It's a 5k race or a 1 mile fun walk. Included with your admission for that night is not only the race, but free hot chocolate and cookies," said event director Peter Bricotta.

Film Fest

The Wild and Scenic Film Festival is making its way to Virginia and Delaware. Saturday, the doors open at Island Theater in Chincoteague at 6. The Assateague Coastal Trust guarantees a fun time with amazing footage from around the world.  

"The films have toured the entire United States and they are beautifully filmed, hi-def cinematography that takes you from the highest mountains, to down underneath the ocean," said Assateague Coastkeeper, Kathy Phillips.

Milton Theatre

Elvis is coming to town! This weekend the Milton Theatre has two fun events for the community. Watch Jesse Garron perform his tribute to Elvis. And Sunday is a day for the kids. Mary Poppins floats to the theater for a special movie showing and activities. 

"The movie starts at three. The doors open at two so if people want to watch the pre-show and do arts and crafts for kids, come in early," said marketing director John Paul Lacap.
