Delmarva Businesses Welcome Shop Small Saturday

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - The holiday festivities continue with Shop Small Saturday and downtown Salisbury business owners say it's an exciting time of year. Barefoot Baby owner Martha Ogburn says shopping small brings true holiday jolly.

"Small Business Saturday is usually one of my big days because people know this is their chance to say hey thanks for being here!" Ogburn said.

About 67 cents to every dollar spent will stay in the local community, according to American Express, affirming to people like Ogburn their business will keep going.

If you "Shop Small" in Salisbury in the next few days, you can bring your receipt to the Visitor's Center and have a chance to win a gift card and get one of the first few copies of the 2020 Salisbury calendar.
