Posted: Updated:

MILFORD, Del.- Milford police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspicious person who followed two juveniles home.

Police said that on Monday, Dec. 2, officers responded to the 500 block of Truitt Avenue to investigate a suspicious male who was believed to have attempted to contact two juveniles in the area as they were walking home from school.  The two juveniles entered their home as they felt he was coming to contact them.

According to police, the man reportedly attempted to contact the two juveniles in the home, but the doors were locked and they refused to open the door.

Police said the man was described as possibly black, large build, with short hair, and possibly a beard. He is believed to have been in a brown truck with brush or trees in the bed of the truck.  He was also talking to a female in a maroon car prior to attempting to contact the juveniles.

Anyone with information about this is asked to call 302-422-8081 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.  Tips can also be submitted online at MilfordPoliceDE.org/Tips.
