Troopers Investigate Home Invasion in Dover

DOVER, Del.- Delaware State Police are investigating a home invasion that occurred early Thursday morning in Dover.

Just after midnight, Troopers were dispatched to Mast Circle for a report of a home invasion. Police met with a 21-year-old woman and 24-year-old man, both living in the home. The two victims were in the living room when two people forced their way into the home through the front door armed with handguns, according to police.

The suspects allegedly held the victims at gunpoint and demanded cash and firearms. The suspects fled with two handguns and cash. The victims, along with three juveniles who were in the home at the time, were not injured.

The suspects were described as black males, with their faces covered and armed with handguns.
