Laurel Man Wanted for Beating Woman Unconscious

BRIDGEVILLE, Del.- Delaware State Police are looking for a Laurel man accused of beating a woman to the point where she lost consciousness. 

Police said 48-year-old Kenneth E. Greene currently has an active warrant out of Troop 4 for felony second-degree assault.

Troopers said the incident occurred on Jan. 3, when a 28-year-old woman was attending a “block party” in the Bridgeville area. Troopers said that after an alleged drug transaction took place, Greene approached the woman and began physically assaulting her. Police said the woman, who was left lying on the ground unconscious, subsequently regained consciousness and was able to leave the area. She sought medical care and was transported to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Greene is described as 6-foot-tall, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He may be operating a gray Nissan Altima or Maxima. Anyone with information in reference to Greene’s whereabouts is asked to contact Troop 4, Corporal Gambale at 302-856-5850.
