Recipe from Nalini Mantripragada of Calif.
Ingredients:
- 15 young okras
- 2 green chillies
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 3 T oil
- 1/4 bunch cilantro
- 1 tsp salt
Wash okra and dry them. Cut them as small thin round circles. Crush chilies, cumin, and cilantro together and keep it aside. Then you heat the pan and add oil and cut okra in it. Let it saute until they are cooked and not sticking together. Then you put the chili paste in and mix it. Keep it on stove until you smell the aroma of the ingredients. Then you can sprinkle salt and take it off from the heat. This side dish tastes good with freshly cooked rice or roll it with any kind of bread and eat it.
