Recipe from Deborah Adams of Louisiana
Ingredients:
- 1 medium size mixing bowl FULL of broken bread
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 4 eggs
- 2-3 cups milk
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 2 tablespoons vanilla flavor
- 1 can condensed cream
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together except butter and condensed cream. The mixture should be easily stirrable, if not add more milk. Melt butter in 10x13 pan and pour over mixture. Place back in baking dish. Bake at 375 degrees for 45-55 minutes and as soon as it comes out of the oven pour the condensed cream on top.
