The ads for Fast Five proudly announced that summer starts April 29, two months prior to the actual start of summer, but it very much fits because this film is in the same vein as a summer blockbuster. It's ridiculous, over-the-top antics designed to amuse the teenage to college-age crowds.

Since the Gulf of Tonkin incident in 1964, one would think the U.S. government had given up on trying to lie to the American public about events of war, but, as this documentary by Amir Bar-Lev proves, the government still has not gotten over its habit of lying to its country. The movie focuses on the life and death of Pat Tillman, the Arizona football player-turned-Army ranger.

The sixth feature film by Israel Luna will be on DVD this Nov. 9. It has its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in April. Breaking Glass Pictures in Philadelphia purchased the movie thereafter and released it into theaters in October, making it an awesome Halloween treat.

This is the third film in the Head Case series directed by Anthony Spadaccini of northern Delaware. Post-Mortem has essentially the same plot as The Ritual, the second film in the series, only this one stars Mark Cray as John Craven and Devin Kates as Seth. It seems that if serial killing was a course in college, Craven would be the professor and Seth the student.

What a very cool documentary! It's slick, sly, subversive and supreme in its delving into a person and a subject that is excitingly crazy and utterly fascinating. Easily one of the best documentaries of 2010! Easily one of the best overall movies of 2010!
