Mr. Kurie,

Since I moved here to Delaware in 1996 from Washington DC I must say you were the first person I remember seeing on WBOC.

I've since enjoyed you continued Charm and On-screen personality.   When you're on I often say your name "Bob Burnett-Kurie, I somehow love the way your name rolls out.

I'll truly miss you and wish you all the best in you most earned retirement.  May all the best that life has to offer be sent your way for all the good memories you've given us here on DelMarva.

Sincerely and Warmest Regards,
Jon Parks

Bob,

We just heard on "WBOC This Morning" about your retirement.  Ellen and I live in northern Virginia, and since I still work, we are seldom at our Bethany Beach retreat during the week.  This, of course, means that you have been almost our sole source for weather on Delmarva.  We know WBOC has a great team, but you became a part of our lives, a man we could count on while we are here, and we will truly miss you. Enjoy your retirement!

Ken & Ellen

My husband and I have gotten so used to depending on your weather reporting these past several years. We felt like you were reporting as best you could with all the difficulties we encounter in this area. We especially liked the  indepth explanation you gave for various weather conditions we encounter here. Best of Luck in your retirement. You will be missed.
