Bob I am a tourist to the ocean city area about two or three times a year.  I always looked for your weather reports to plan my days at the beach and my fishing trips.  Enjoy your retirement; you've done a great job.  Congratulations.

While we have only lived in the lower Delaware area for just about 4 and one half years, we have come to feel that you have been a long time friend. You always make your forecast so personal and informative.
Understand that you were a weatherman in northern New England. Would love to know where as we lived in the Bangor, Maine  and Rutland, Vt areas Joanne and George

Bob,

Congratulations on your impending retirement.  You will be sorely missed.  We live in VA and I want you to know that we notice that you are the only meteorologist that ever mentions Wallops Island.  We are part of Delmarva, yet the forecasts seemed to stop at Salisbury and OC.  I wake up early on Saturdays and Sundays to watch you in the morning so I can get a forecast for the week that I have confidence in.  Best of wishes wherever you may end up.

it was nice seeing you on tv. I hope that when you retire that you get to do everything that you ever wanted do. well miss you doing the weather report

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Good luck Bob!

My husband and I were transplanted to Delmarva at exactly the same time as you.  How well we remember that first winter of snow...and we were coming from the Snowbelt!  We are curious if there was more snow that winter than the next 11 winters combined.  We thought we were moving south.

Best wishes!

You have made watching the weather pleasant with your smile I'm sure there were times that you probably were sick, tired, etc., but you always had a smile.

May God Bless You,

Jeff and Debbie Stevens
