Drug Bust Leads to Cambridge Man's Arrest

CAMBRIDGE, Md.- Authorities say the early Thursday morning drug raid of a Cambridge home led to the seizure of about 2 pounds of marijuana and the arrest of a city man on multiple charges.  

Members of the Dorchester County Narcotics Task Force, assisted by the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office and Maryland State Police, raided the Osprey Circle home of 32-year-old Marcus Javier Quinones.

Police located Quinones inside one of the bedrooms. According to police, a search of the home revealed 878.6 grams (approximately 2 pounds) of marijuana, 10 ecstasy pills, digital scales and $2,361 in cash. Police say all of the evidence was located in the same bedroom as Quinones.  

Quinones was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute ecstasy, possession of ecstasy and possession of paraphernalia. He is being held on $100,000 bond.
