Swelling

Whenever swelling occurs in the mouth and lasts a few days, there’s a good chance it was caused by an infection. Tooth related swelling usually occurs at the end of the root and if it is gum related it usually occurs around the gum line of the tooth. It is very imperative that you see a dentist immediately since dental infections can be life threatening. Do not wait for it to go away because even if it does it may become a more serious condition. The longer you wait the more time consuming and costly the treatment. There is little excuse to wait, since we have evening, early morning and Saturday hours available at Delmarva Dental Services.
