Tonight will be warmer as a south wind continues and a warm front moves through the area. Clouds will linger with some spotty drizzle at times. Clouds will break up Tuesday and it will turn partly sunny and dramatically warmer by mid afternoon, as temps approach 70 degrees. It will be cooler near the beaches with temps. near 60. Winds will turn more tot he SW on Wednesday and very mild air will move into the region with highs in the mid 70's. The record high Wednesday in Salisbury is 75 and this record is in jeopardy. A weak cool front will sag down from the north on Thursday and turn the winds back to the northeast and drop the temperatures to near 50 degrees during the day. We may see some light showers Thursday with low clouds returning. Beaches will likely stay in the 40's all day Thursday.Friday looks milder with highs back into the mid 50's although some showers are likely. Saturday and Sunday look very mild with highs in them id 60's but clouds and showers are a good bet at times. Monday looks mostly sunny and a bit cooler with highs in the 50's.
