Forecast Updated by Meteorologist Mike Lichniak on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 4:30am.

Today: Partly to mostly cloudy with a slight chance of a shower the farther south you travel. Most of us will stay dry, much cooler at the beaches. Highs: 60-68 (50-55 at beaches and places stuck in thick clouds). Winds: N-NE 5-15 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear to partly cloudy. Breezy. Lows: 38-45. Winds: N-NE 10-15 mph.

Sunday: Partly cloudy and breezy! Highs: 60-68. Winds: NE-E 10-20 mph.

Monday: Partly cloudy and warmer. Highs: 66-75. Winds: NE 5-15 mph.

After some cool days across Delmarva, a warm up is on the way heading into the weekend. High pressure is in control and will bring us some sunshine. A low pressure down to the south will be bringing rain to the Carolinas and even into Hampton Roads to our south, but enough of that cloud cover is going to spread across the region on Saturday. I can't rule out a stray shower far southern Delmarva, but most of us will stay dry.

A nicer day on Sunday is expected with sunshine and temperatures back to average for this time of year. We reach into the 70s on Monday and Tuesday ahead of our next weather maker. This will bring us a few showers Tuesday afternoon and evening and will usher in some cooler weather for Wednesday and Thursday.
