...COASTAL FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM EST
MONDAY...

* LOCATIONS...Tidal areas in Kent and Sussex counties in Delaware.

* TIMING...Until 5 PM EST Monday.

* COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...One to two feet of inundation above
ground level is possible in low-lying areas near shorelines
and tidal waterways. Widespread flooding of roadways is
expected with many roads becoming impassable. Some damage to
vulnerable structures may occur.

* WAVES...Building to 7 to 13 feet on the ocean. Building to 3
to 6 feet on Delaware Bay...highest near the baymouth.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Coastal Flood Warning means that moderate or major tidal
flooding is occurring or imminent. Be prepared for rising water
levels and take appropriate action to protect life and property.
Follow the recommendations of local emergency management
officials.

Do not drive your vehicle through flood waters. The water may be
deeper than you think it is. You will be putting yourself in
danger and your vehicle may be damaged, leading to costly
repairs.

Visit the Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service at
water.weather.gov/ahps for additional water level and flood
impact information for your local tide gauge.

...COASTAL FLOOD WARNING IS CANCELLED...

The National Weather Service in Wakefield has issued a Coastal
Flood Advisory, which is in effect until 7 PM EST Monday. The
Coastal Flood Warning has been cancelled.

* LOCATION...Accomack and Northampton Counties.

* TIMING...For the High Surf Advisory, until 1 PM EST Monday.
For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 7 PM EST Monday.

* COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...Up to one foot of inundation above
ground level is possible in low-lying areas near shorelines and
tidal waterways.

* SHORELINE IMPACTS...Large waves could damage dune structures
resulting in damage to property along the shoreline including
some property located immediately behind dune structures.

* SURF OR RIP CURRENT RISK... Large breaking waves of greater
than 8 feet will result in dangerous surf conditions. Do not
enter or approach the water due to the risk of being swept
away.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Surf Advisory means that high surf will affect beaches in
the advisory area...producing localized beach erosion and
dangerous swimming conditions.

A Coastal Flood Advisory means that onshore winds...wave action
and/or tides will combine to create flooding of low areas along
the shore...and near tidal rivers and creeks. Be prepared for the
possibility of road closures and minor flooding of properties. If
travel is necessary...do not attempt to drive through water of
unknown depth.
