DOVER, Del.- Dover police are investigating a late Wednesday night drive-by shooting that left three unoccupied vehicles damaged by gunfire.
It happened at around 10:30 p.m. on the 300 block of Simon Circle. Police responded to that location after receiving multiple reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers observed the damaged vehicles and several shell casings in the area. One witness told polcie that he observed a red Chevrolet Impala with several people inside pass by with multiple shots fired from the vehicle. No further description of the vehicle or its occupants was provided. No injuries were reported.
