UNDATED- With freezing temperatures and snow expected into Saturday, Code Purple declarations have been made in all three Delaware counties. Code Purple is in effect through Sunday and shelters across the state are open to provide a warm place to stay for those without a home.
Code Purple goes into effect when temperatures reach below freezing. It is extended through Sunday as Delmarva waits to see what the snow storm will bring.
