OCEAN CITY, Md- A sea of color and cars! Thursday is the first day of Cruisin' Ocean City. The weekend is full of hot rods, tricked out trucks, and more.

"Everything is beautiful here, the competition, you learn something new, find out out some tricks you can do to your car," said Ron Snoots who has been coming to the car show for over 20 years.

The event was canceled last year, something Snoots says was heartbreaking. But he's happy to be back and show off his 1956 Chevy Nomad.

"Two door station wagon. There's only just over 18-hundred of them made. It's got a 350 engine which is new, 350 turbo transmission, oversized tires on the back. Interior-wise it's all the same was it was in 56," said Snoots.

Driving around Ocean City this weekend it's important to remember there is a special event zone in effect until Sunday. The speed limit along Route 1 is 30 miles an hour this weekend, and fines are increased.

There's more to do than just look at cars. Friday and Saturday morning cars line up for the boardwalk parade. Thursday and Friday evening cruise back over to the inlet for a drive in movie.

Cruisin' Ocean City is happening now until Sunday. It's 10-dollars Thursday and Sunday, and 15-dollars Friday and Saturday. See the full list of  weekend events here.
