DOVER, Del.- The Dover Police Department have arrested four teenagers following a second robbery of a pizza delivery person.
At 11:30p.m., a driver from Papa John’s Pizza attempted to deliver a food order to a home in the 800 Block of Townsend Blvd. Authorities say that when the driver exited his vehicle, he was approached by four suspects who punched him in the head and face, causing him to fall to the ground. The suspects then took the food and an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim and fled the area.
A female suspect was later identified after a disorderly persons complaint was called in at the Fairfield Inn on Jefferic Blvd. in Dover. Police say that by using that information, detectives were able to locate one of the suspects who was on GPS monitoring by Delaware Juvenile Probation. Officers then went to a home in the 500 Block of Buckson Drive.
Officers say that when they arrived at the residence, officers saw empty Papa John’s boxes and containers that matched the items ordered by the suspects. Officers then located the four suspects inside the home and took them into custody without incident.
As a result of this incident, authorties arrested three juveniles from Dover, sixteen-year olds Jawann Butcher and Hanna Ellis, along with thirteen-year old Aliah Stone charging them with the following offenses for both robberies: second-degree robbery, second-degree conspiracy, and third-degree assault.
Sixteen year old Alton Kinsey of Dover was also charged in the second robbery of the Papa John’s employee with prior offenses, but only for the most recent robbery.
