TOWSON, Md. (AP) - A man has been sentenced to life plus 35 years in prison fatally shooting another man outside a Baltimore County bar.
Twenty-eight-year-old Darryl Anderson was sentenced Monday in Baltimore County Circuit Court. He had been convicted of first-degree premeditated murder in the death of 31-year-old Derrick Gamble.
Prosecutors say on July 8, 2012, Gamble was leaving the Tee-Bees Bar in Parkville when Anderson shot him 12 times with a semi-automatic handgun. Prosecutors say the motive for the shooting remains unknown.
Authorities say Anderson was arrested in Birmingham, Alabama, in July 2013.
