One Person Injured after Accident on Railroad Tracks in Clayton

CLAYTON, Del.- One person was injured after a single-vehicle accident in Clayton on Wednesday morning.

The Clayton Fire Company says emergency crews were dispatched at 6:51 a.m. to an accident on Main Street and the Norfolk Southern Railroad tracks.

Fire officials said one person sustained minor injuries and was transported to Bayhealth Medical Center in Dover.

There is no word yet on what caused the crash.

The Clayton Fire Company, Smyrna Legion Ambulance, Delaware State Police and Clayton police all responded to the accident.
