EASTON, Md.- Police have arrested an Easton woman in connection to a robbery, but are still looking for another suspect involved.
Early Saturday morning, Easton police responded to a reported robbery on the 20th block of South Higgins Street. According to police, the victim claimed a man and a woman approached him and the man demanded money. Police said that when the victim refused, the male suspect began hitting the victim. Police said woman, later identified as 22-year-old Nicole Whitefield, then took the victim's wallet and money.
On Monday, police arrested Whitefield. She is charged with armed robbery, robbery, theft: less $1,000, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and conspiracy charges. Whitfield was taken before a Talbot County District Court Commissioner where she was held without bond.
Police have not identified the man involved in the robbery.The investigation is ongoing and if anyone has any information regarding this matter, they are asked to contact the Easton Police Department at (410) 822-1111.
