HARRINGTON, Del. --- A Harrington man who last week agreed to pay a prostitute while he caring for a child faces was arrested after emergency workers had to revive him with Narcan while responding to a possible overdose, police said.

Charles T. Reynolds, 58, of the 100 Block of Fleming Street in Harrington, was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Patronizing a Prostitute, according to Lt. Earl Brode, a Harrington Police Department spokesman.

Officers and emergency workers responded to a possible overdose home in the 100 Block of Fleming Street and Reynolds was found unresponsive inside the home, Brode said in a news release on Monday.

EMS workers administered Narcan to Reynolds, who regained consciousness and was taken to a hospital for treatment, Brode said.

During the investigation, officers learned Reynolds was caring for a 10-year-old child in the home and also had a woman inside the residence whom he had agreed to pay a prostitute for sex, Brode said.

Reynolds was released from the hospital and taken into custody. Brode said Reynolds was arraigned via video phone at Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on a $1,100 unsecured bond.
