Seaford Man Arrested After Threatening People At Event

Police say Daniel Lewis of Seaford was arrested for making threats at an event held at Milford High School.

MILFORD, Del. -- A Seaford man was arrested after a verbal altercation broke out during an event at Milford High School.

Milford Police were called to the school's stadium off of North Walnut Street after a complain of disorderly conduct. Officers were told that a male subject was acting out of order and was about to get in a car and leave.  As officers were responding to the school property, they found the man and made contact with him. The victims approached responding officers and told them the man, identified as Daniel Lewis, 36 of Seaford, DE, had engaged in an argument with them during a public event and allegedly threatened bodily harm against the victims.  

Lewis was taken into custody and charged with 2 counts of Terroristic Threatening, 4 counts of Endangering The Welfare Of A Child, and one count of Disorderly Conduct. Lewis had a presentment through the Justice of the Peace Court 7 and was released $3250.00 unsecured bail with a no contact order with the victims in this case.  Lewis was ordered to appear in the Kent County Court of Common Pleas at a later date reference to this case.
