SALISBURY, Md.- A Wicomico County Circuit Court judge has sentenced a Snow Hill woman to three-and-a-half years behind bars after a jury convicted her of theft over $100,000 and embezzlement.
Between December 2017 and August 2018, Kelsey Hall, 31, worked as the warehouse and Operations Manager for Canada Dry in
Salisbury. Prosecutors said that during this time period Hull embezzled more than $150,000 by overbilling a company credit card and issuing refunds to
her various PayPal accounts, subsequently depositing the funds to her bank account.
Following Hull's sentencing and subsequent conviction, Wicomico County State's Attorney Jamie Dykes said in a statement Tuesday, "Too often, employee theft destroys businesses. Ms. Hull’s conviction and sentence should serve as a deterrent to others inclined to violate of the position of trust afforded them by their employers.”
