Broadcast Journalist
Chris Weimer joined the WBOC news team in September of 2014 and anchors WBOC News at 10 and 11.
Chris was born in New York but grew up in Yarmouth, Maine. He graduated from the College of Charleston with a bachelor's of science degree in corporate communication. Chris began his career as a general assignment reporter a WAGM-TV in Presque Isle, Maine. He was then promoted to late night sports anchor before moving over to lead anchor and eventually becoming News Director.
Chris is a proud graduate of the NAB Broadcast Leadership Training Program's class of 2014. When not working, he enjoys spending time with friends and family. Some of Chris' favorite shows are "House of Cards", "New Girl", "Big Bang Theory" and, of course, "The Newsroom". Chris also enjoys anything sports-related. He is a big Yankees and Giants fan and is excited to see how that plays out in Delmarva!
