Part of the Ocean City Boardwalk was closed and nearby homes were evacuated because of a severed gas line earlier, though things are back to normal now. The government shutdown has ended and is attempting to return to normal. Maryland appears to still be staring down the barrel of a more than billion dollar shortfall.
