SALISBURY, Md.- A former Kitty's Flowers employee pleaded guilty to theft of over $100,000 Tuesday.
According to the Wicomico County State's Attorney Office, Kimberly Jo Harrison, 37, of Salisbury made the victim whole by paying full restitution prior to being sentenced to 10 years with all but 18 months suspended.
Court records show that between July 2014 and October 2018, Harrison, the sales and office manager for Kitty’s Flowers, embezzled over $180,000 by canceling transactions through the company’s point-of-sale software and stealing the corresponding cash.
Upon release from prison, Harrison will serve two years of supervised probation.
