MILFORD, Del. -- The Milford Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a driver who police say hit a pedestrian and drove off.
It happened on the 200 block of Northeast Front Street around 6:30 p.m. Monday.
According to police, a car hit a pedestrian and took off from the scene, driving south on North Washington Street.
Police say the pedestrian was taken to Bayhealth in Milford with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Milford PD says the driver is described as a woman between the ages of 18 and 25, who was driving a dark color Ford Taurus or Nissan Sentra.
