MILTON, De. - Voters in the town of Milton have approved the annexation of a piece of property just outside of town limits.
The public referendum makes way for the 50 acre housing development called "Scarlet Oaks" to become a part of the town.
It's located at Shingle Point Road and Harbeson Road, and is slated to include 163 residential units.
397 people voted in favor, while 86 voted against.
