NEWARK, Del.- After
successfully finding over 1,100 animals homes in December, the Brandywine Valley SPCA is on track to host the largest adoption event in the country. On Saturday June 29th and Sunday June 30th, over 1000 dogs and cats will be looking for their forever homes at the Bob Carpenter Center in Newark. Brandywine Valley SPCA Community Engagement Coordinator Carla DiGiacomo says all animals' adoption fees are just 35 dollars. "The pets will all have been fully vetted," she says. "They are going to be spayed and neutered, they will be up to date on their shots and they will also be microchipped and ready for adoption." This is the 6th Mega Adoption event hosted by the Brandywine Valley SPCA. For more information on the event,
