DOVER, Del.- Delaware health inspectors temporarily closed Charleys Philly Steaks in the Dover Mall after finding adult and juvenile roaches throughout the restaurant.

The Division of Public Health ordered the business to cease operations and close on Feb. 12 due to an "imminent health hazard," according to the initial inspection report

The inspection occurred followed a complaint leveled against the establishment. The restaurant was allowed to reopen on Feb. 15 following a reinspection of the premises.

While allowing Charleys to reopen, the Division of Public Health raised the restaurant's risk category from medium to high due to the last infestation.

The inspector also ordered the ownership to "do not leave person in charge of your establishment does that not have food safety knowledge." That was one of the problems the initial inspection report identified.
