DELMAR, Del.- A malfunctioning HVAC system prompted firefighters to respond to Delmar Middle and High School early Thursday afternoon.
Students and faculty were evacuated to the football field as a precautionary measure while Delmar firefighters responded to the scene to investigate.
In a notification to parents, the Delmar School District provided information about the incident and said students would be dismissed early at 2:30 p.m.
