Salisbury Police arrested 26 year old Abel Rivera-Alvira after a Tuesday night incident they say involved an assault with an "AK-47 rifle". At large, is his brother Benjamin Rivera-Alvira.
In a statement issued on Friday, Salisbury Police say they arrived to the 800 block of College Lane at approximately 9:36 pm on January 19. A 27 year old woman stated she was there to meet Abel, her ex-boyfriend in order to retrieve some of her belongings. It was during this time, Abel allegedly showed he had a knife and forced her to perform a sexual act.
