HURLOCK, Md.-The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office has ruled a structure fire in Dorchester County accidental.
Just before 2 p.m., investigators say a passerby discovered the building on Milligantown Road in Hurlock on fire. The Hurlock Volunteer Fire Department worked for 30 minutes to put out the flames. No one was injured, according to the State Fire Marshal's Office.
Altogether, officials say the fire caused about $400,000 in damages. Investigators determined the fire was sparked by an electrical failure within the building.
