Older homes have lots of history. One realtor found letters under the floorboards of a fixer-upper.
Realtor Lee Lamont found an antique envelope addressed to Mrs. Emma Brown Sanders, post marked 1927 with a two-cent stamp. It was a letter from Emma to her husband telling how much she missed him. A quick search online led to the discovery that Emma Brown and John Sanders married in 1924 and their son, Sanwin, was born in 1925.
Lee found more letters under the floorboards – each were dated 1924-1928, but the house where Lee found them wasn’t built until the 1940’s. So someone must have thought they were very important to bring to this home. Lee is looking for anyone who may have a tie to these letters.
