The Avalon Theatre was built in 1922 and was immediately known as the “showplace of the Eastern Shore.”
Renovations took place in the mid-eighties and the town turned the theatre operation over to the Avalon Foundation and from there, the theatre became the Center for Performing Arts and Community Events. You can still expect an experience you won’t forget!
Avalon Theatre’s Marketing Director, Tim Weigand, joins us in the studio to talk about the foundation’s mission and upcoming shows.
