DE-feet Breast Cancer Event

There’s a local organization helping men and women through the journey that is breast cancer. But, they still need your help. You can do so by putting one foot in front of the other. Communications Director with the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition, Beth Krallis, and Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition’s Program Manager of Survivorship and Education in Sussex County, Connie Holdrgide join us in the DelmarvaLife studio to tell us more. The DE-feet Breast Cancer event is Sunday, May 22 at Tanger Outlets in Rehoboth Beach, Del. Registration opens at 7 am and is $30 the day of the event or you can pre-register until Wednesday, May 18 at noon, for $25. The 5k run/walk begins at 8:30 am. For more information, click here.

There are many things you probably have in your fridge at all times and there is no shortage of delicious things you can make with them. Chef Steve Konopelski from Turnbridge Point B&B joins us to create a dish from the contents in our fridge and freezer.
Making a dish with a polenta, succotash and shrimp!
- raw, deveined, shelled large shrimp
- an orange or lemon
- frozen vegetables: corn and/or lima bean
- onion
- bell pepper: red but green is fine too
- bacon
- celery
- cornmeal
- chicken stock
Playing a New Game Involving Emoji’s

Sean took a visit to Washington, D.C. in April 2016, where they were taping a teen Jeopardy! tournament. He even took a picture with Jeopardy! game show host, Alex Trebek!
