As the upper-level low finally swings across Delmarva during the day on Friday, a weak area of low pressure at the surface looks to develop and as it does may cause a few more showers to flare up in the later part of the evening and the first part of the overnight tomorrow. This rain chance should not amount to as much as we have seen yesterday, but enough to maybe cause some issues with how oversaturated we are on the peninsula. Otherwise, it will be another gray day with some peeks of sunshine with temperatures on the warm side still as we reach the 50s this afternoon.

The weekend forecast looks real nice with plenty of sunshine by the time we get to Sunday with temperatures right where we should be for this time of year. Looking to ring in the new year on the dry side Sunday night with temperatures in the 30s overnight into Monday morning. A few extra clouds around on Monday as a weak clipper system swings through the region and will bring a cooler blast of air for Tuesday.

Also watching the Thursday / Friday timetable as the mid-range models are finally playing with the energy that we have been watching on long range models for a few days and could provide us with an interesting forecast by later in the week next week. Stay tuned friends…
