Somerset County Mobile Home Destroyed in Fire

MARION STATION, Md.- Officials are investigating a mobile home fire that occurred in Somerset County on Tuesday afternoon. 

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office said the incident happened at around 1 p.m. at the 12-foot by 60-foot vacant home located at 28412 Ranford Williams Lane in Marion Station.

It took 20 firefighters from the Marion Station Volunteer Fire Company 20 minutes to get the blaze under control. 

There were no reported injuries. Investigators said the fire caused approximately $7,500 in damage to the home and another $1,000 in damage to its contents.
