Frankford Man in Critical Condition After Thursday Evening Crash

SNOW HILL, Md.- A car crash in Snow Hill on Wednesday left six people in the hospital. 

Maryland State Police said 24-year-old Brittani Lee Selert, of Virginia, was driving a 2004 Dodge Durango on Route 113 when she failed to stop at a red signal. 

Selert's car struck a 2015 Ford Focus traveling along Route 12 just before 2 p.m., according to police.  

MSP said all four occupants of the Dodge Durango, including Selert, passenger Nicole Annetta Parks, a 9-month-old infant and a 9-year-old child were taken to Atlantic General Hospital for their injuries. 

The driver of the Ford Focus, Kim Poole of Berlin, was taken to MD Shock Trauma for her injuries, according to MSP. The passenger of that vehicle, identified by police as Gloria Lambert, was taken to PRMC in Salisbury for her injuries. 

Police said the investigation is ongoing and charges are pending at this time.
