Police Seize 2,472 Bags of Heroin From Worcester County Home

WHALEYVILLE, Md.- The Worcester County Sheriff's Office said deputies seized nearly 2,500 bags of heroin, cocaine, and a handgun after searching a home involved in a heroin distribution investigation.

It happened July 20th at a home in Whaleyville. The Sheriff's Office said investigations lead to the search and seizure warrant, in which police found 2,472 individually wrapped bags of heroin, 19.5 grams of cocaine, and a loaded handgun. 

Police arrested Cody Lee Hudson, 33, and charged him with possession of the drugs and firearm, among other related charges. He was being held without bond at the Worcester County Jail.

The Worcester County STAR Team, Worcester County States Attorney’s Office, and the Ocean City Police Department helped the Criminal Enforcement Team in the search and seizure.
