SEAFORD, Del.- A police car was struck Wednesday morning while at the scene of a trash truck fire on US 13 in Seaford, Delaware.
The Seaford police car had its flashers on when the incident occurred, but the driver who stuck the parked car, was experiencing medical issues and was on the way to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. The police car was unoccupied when it was hit.
Both the operator of the trash truck that was on fire and the car driver who was experiencing a medical emergency were transported to Nanticoke Memorial for unspecified injuries.
