Updated: Fire in Salisbury Sends One Person to PRMC

SALISBURY, Md.- Fire officials in Salisbury are investigating an apartment fire that sent one person to the hospital.

Just before 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10, firefighters responded to the fire on the 300 block of Glen Avenue at the Northpark Gardens Apartment Complex.

According to the Office of the State Fire Marshal, a 22-year-old woman was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center to be treated for smoke inhalation. She is expected to be okay.

The two-alarm fire caused an estimated $275,000 in damage. The cause is still not known, investigators said.
